Continuing our long tradition, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada is organizing the 35th World Religions Conference (WRC) on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the River Run Centre, Guelph. This year's theme is "Tackling Radicalization in Faiths". Radicalization of followers of faiths has become a global threat and concern for all of humanity. This year’s conference theme will explore how different faith groups tackle radicalization of followers and what might be its underlying causes. The conference further hopes that such mutual exploration will encourage better understanding and promote a harmonious co-existence among the members of Canada's religious and cultural mosaic.
WRC has enriched our society by promoting peace, understanding, and tolerance among the followers of different faiths and philosophical traditions for over 3 decades. WRC has become established as Canada's premier and largest multi-faith event.
This year again, a great line-up of speakers representing Aboriginal Spirituality, Judaism, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Humanism will address the conference. CBC Radio's famous radio host, Craig Norris will moderate the conference
Renowned speakers representing Aboriginal Spirituality, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, and Humanism (Atheism and Agnostics) participate at the event.
