Mosques Across the Country Open Doors to All Canadians
To combat the unprecedented rise of hate crimes, Canadians are offered a unique opportunity to visit their local mosques
This weekend, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada will be launching a nationwide campaign titled “Bring a Friend to the Mosque” to welcome Canadians to its mosques. With the unprecedented rise of hate crimes leading to Islamophobia and anti-Semitism, this timely initiative aims to give Canadians an opportunity to address any questions or concerns based on the conflict in the Middle East.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at believes the only way to truly quell the tide of hate crimes is by providing much-needed education and having open dialogue with Canadians.
Dozens of mosques in cities and towns across the country will be participating this weekend, on December 16-17, including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Mississauga, Brampton, Barrie and many others.
Canadians interested in participating in the campaign and visiting a local mosque can register online at MosqueVisit.ca
