Canadian Muslim Community Mourns the Loss of Innocent Lives in Texas Church Shooting
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada condemns terror attack in Sutherland Springs, Texas
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada condemns the horrific shooting that took place inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherlands Springs and expresses its deepest condolences to the victims and their families. It is reported that a man opened gunfire in the church, killing 26 people.
“We are deeply grieved by the senseless attack that took place inside the First Baptist Church. Islam teaches us that all places of worship are sacred.” says National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, Mr. Lal Khan Malik. “It is devastating that massacre occurred when peaceful members of congregation were engaged in prayers.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada prays for solace and fortitude for all those left bereaved or affected by this tragedy.
