Canadian Muslim Community Condemns Attack on Christmas Market in Berlin
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada mourns the loss of innocent lives in Berlin, Germany
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada condemns the senseless attack that took place in Berlin, and expresses its deepest condolences to the victims and families affected by this atrocity. It is reported that a truck crashed into a Christmas market in Berlin, killing a dozen people and wounding at least 48 more. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at urges for calm and patience as authorities work to restore security and order.
“We are deeply saddened by the attack that took place in Berlin and we pray for the rapid recovery of the wounded,” says National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, Mr. Lal Khan Malik. “Islam forbids all forms of terror and extremism. As Muslims, we are taught that killing even one innocent person is akin to killing all of mankind.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada prays for the victims and extends its condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones as a result of this act.
