Canadian Muslim Community Mourns with Victims of Italy Earthquake
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada prays for stability in Italy
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada is deeply saddened to learn of the devastating earthquake that took place in Italy. It is reported that more than 120 people were killed in the disaster while hundreds more were left injured. We offer our sympathies and heartfelt prayers for those affected by this tragedy.
“We express our deepest condolences to those affected by the disastrous earthquake in Italy,” said Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada. “We pray for the victims, for the families and friends left bereaved, and for the rapid recovery of the wounded. We also pray that the authorities and rescue teams are able to come together and work diligently to continue the search for survivors.”
