Canadian Muslim Community Mourns With Victims of Istanbul Terrorist Attack
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at condemns senseless attack in Istanbul, Turkey
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada expresses its deepest condolences to the victims and families of the horrific acts of terrorism in Istanbul, Turkey. It is reported that more than 35 people have been killed and at least 147 injured.
“We are truly saddened to hear about the brutal attacks in Istanbul,” said Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada. “The innocent victims of these barbaric attacks and their families are in our sincerest thoughts and prayers during the blessed month of Ramadan.”
He went on to say, “We condemn all attempts to justify killing of innocent lives and we stand committed to restoring peace in the world.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at prays for solace and fortitude for the grieving families and speedy recovery of the wounded.
