Canadian Muslims Launch National “Visit a Mosque” Campaign
 
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at launches week-long campaign inviting Canadians to its mosques across the country to build understanding

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada launches its nationwide “Visit a Mosque” campaign on Sunday, March 6. As misconceptions regarding Islam have become prevalent, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at invites Canadians to visit its mosques and gatherings nation wide to experience firsthand, the true and peaceful teachings of Islam. 

Local chapters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at across Canada will be hosting events at their respective mosques and prayer centers with information and visual exhibitions regarding Islam, as well as“meet and greets” with community leaders and members. 

The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, Mr. Lal Khan Malik, conveyed his invitation to all Canadians as he stated: “This campaign provides an excellent opportunity for Canadians to meet their Muslim neighbours, friends and fellow citizens, and learn how Muslims truly live and practice their religion. Many misconceptions have crept into the minds of people due to the unfortunate behaviour of a fringe minority. This initiative allows Canadians to meet and interact with Muslims on a personal level and truly understand our beliefs.”
