Canadian Muslim Community Condemns Bangladesh Terrorist Attack
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at mourns the loss of innocent lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada strongly denounces the senseless killings in Dhaka, Bangladesh and expresses its deepest condolences to the victims and families affected. It is reported that 20 hostages have been killed. The community urges for calm and patience as authorities work swiftly to restore peace, security and order.
“All forms of terror and extremism are strictly against the teachings of Islam,” said Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada. “The Holy Qur’an says that to kill even one innocent person is akin to killing all of mankind.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at prays for solace and fortitude for all those left bereaved or affected by this tragedy in any way.
