Canadian Muslim Community Organizes Nationwide Fundraiser for Victims of Pakistan Flooding
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at mobilizes urgent fundraisers across Canada to help those devastated by floods in Pakistan
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, in collaboration with Humanity First Canada, is undertaking a special coast-to-coast fundraising initiative to support the victims of the Pakistan floods.
More than 30 million Pakistanis have been displaced and over 1,000 people have died due to floods and severe rain.
Some areas have become inaccessible and rescuers are struggling to evacuate stranded people from affected areas. Balochistan and Sindh provinces and southern Punjab are the hardest hit areas.
Humanity First, a partner charity of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada is responding to this disaster by providing vital humanitarian aid by working with local partners. Humanity First is providing, food, drinking water, tents and other emergency supplies to those affected.
