Canadian Muslim Community Condemns Nice, France Terrorist Attack

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at mourns the loss of innocent lives in Nice, France

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada is shocked and saddened to hear of the senseless killings that took place in Nice, France and expresses its deepest condolences to the victims and families affected. It is reported that dozens of innocent people have been killed. The community urges for calm and patience as authorities work swiftly to restore security and order.

“All forms of terrorism and extremism are completely against the true teachings of Islam,” said Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada. “The Holy Qur’an has said that to kill even one innocent person is akin to killing all of mankind.”

The victims of these barbaric attacks and their families are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope the perpetrators of these evil attacks are swiftly brought to justice.
