Canadian Muslim Community Condemns Heinous Murder of John Ridsdel

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at mourns the loss of fellow Canadian in the Philippines

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada denounces the killing of John Ridsdel, who was held hostage in the Philippines by terrorists since September 2015. This was an act of cold-blooded murder and was utterly unjustified.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of fellow Canadian John Ridsdel in the Philippines,” said Mr. Lal Khan Malik, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada. “The innocent victim and his family are in our heartfelt thoughts and prayers.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at prays for the safety of the remaining hostages and hopes the authorities capture those responsible for this brutal act and bring them to justice.
